He presses his forehead to yours.

Suguru has changed so much. He’s so soft, so sweet with you now. The way you’d always wanted him to be. Completely devoted to you. Even during your times joining him at the skatepark, his attention is all on you. You hate that you had to go through all you did to end up here, wish Suguru had just been a decent person from the beginning. But holding out for hope has paid off tenfold.

It was currently 11 p.m. in London, which meant it was 6 p.m. in New York. Jenna just finished filming for the day and she needed to hear your voice. This is the first time in a week she's seen your face.

y/n sucked a breath in as she broke, her feet nudging the ball as Missy ran at her, but y/n was angry, she was hurt and so she simply dummied one way before turning the other, dragging the ball with the sole of her foot.

Missy was sent completely the blonde pretty much face planting as she went down, fooled by y/n's skilled move, the crowd all 'oooh'd' in shock, cheering as y/n sent her foot through the ball.

y/n paused, waiting before it soared into the top corner, Rachel Lawns merely getting a shocked finger to it. y/n let out a cheer of joy her teammates screaming as they jumped on her.

To have played 70 minutes 1-0 down, to have this happen was incredibly needed. Megan jumped on her shoulder, y/n's hands trying to stabalise her captain.

"You beautiful bitch!" Megan yelled and y/n laughed as they moved back to their positions.

All they had to do was not let Liverpool score. The team had not been expecting a win from this game, so to come away with a draw would be great.

The game re-started, Liverpool moving quickly, but Megan jumped in, intercepting the ball and passing it to y/n. The player turned, only to have two pairs of studs rip into her shin and thigh.

y/n essentially flew back, rolling onto her front and groaning as she looked up, eyes filled with hurt at Missy's face, who looked terrified of the tackle she had just made.

The blues hadn't even raised their hands before the ref had blown the whistle and reached into her pocket, bringing the bright red out in Missy's direction.

"Can you feel this?" The medic asked y/n, the woman still slightly dazed so she hadn't realised they'd even approached.

"Yeah, it hurts." y/n deadpanned, and the medics chuckled, used to her as they helped her up onto her feet.

"Nothing to bad squirt, just a few scrapes." The physiotherapist of the team Stephen said, as y/n joined him on the side of the pitch, begging to be let back on.

Eventually the ref let her back on, but a few minutes later blew the whistle and the draw was set. Liverpool set their heads down in annoyance, but y/n and the girls all cheered hugging.

The start to the season had been a tough one for Everton, they had suffered several annoying point losses, so any points they could scrounge were a blessing at the moment.

y/n was talking with Nicoline, the two having been the first changed as usual as they waited for their team and discussed the newest episode of Strictly.

Nicoline was looking slightly behind and her eyes hardened, her arms folded and she huffed as y/n turned to see her girlfriend waiting sheepishly in the corridor.

It was clear to y/n that she had been crying and any previous anger she held at her girlfriend for her actions on pitch immediately ran from her when seeing her teary eyes.

"I'll see you tomorrow Nico." y/n hummed, her teammate pausing as she looked back over at Missy. But y/n's reassuring smile made her nod and clasp her hand before walking away.

y/n and Missy walked to the car in silence, only a few cars being left now as they slid into the vehicle and waited for the other to speak awkwardly.

"Missy?" y/n asked kindly and her tone immediately made Missy break.

"I could have really hurt you." She says softly. "I was so mad, and I just went in and then you hit the ground. I'm so sorry." Missy rambles quietly.

"Hey, I'm okay." y/n hums, her hand reaching over to take Missy's. "We know how we get derby day, so I won't say any more on that and the tackle was rough yes, but it wasn't entirely intentional." y/n says calmly.

"I'm so sorry, I love you so much." Missy repeats and y/n sighs.

"I know Missy baby." y/n promises. "And I love you just as much, especially when you fall on your arse like that." She continues, hoping and succeeding in making her girl laugh.

"Hm, enjoy it now, it will never happen again." Missy promises and her girlfriend laughs, leaning over to capture their lips together, the blonde Liverpool player deepens it quickly, her hand tugging at y/n's shirt, pulling her closer.

y/n could hardly breath when Missy's tongue collided with her, the two trying their best to fight the other but eventually the kiss slowed and they pulled away softly, smiling at each other.

"Oi oi!" Megan yelled from outside the car and the two jumped apart, Megan howling as she grins at them.

"Fuck off." y/n yelled at her close friend who rolled her eyes and stuck her middle finger up before walking away.

"Home?" Missy asked, chuckling at her girlfriend's captain and her antics.

"Home." y/n confirms and Missy turns the car on.

"I'm so proud of you, Lana." Trevor whispered as his thumb rubbed the same patch of skin bellow the girl's eye. Her eyes were looking at him like he had hung the moon, while he stared at her with such admiration in his eyes.

"'M proud of you, too, Trevs." She answered, her voice low, making the boy chuckle slightly.

"Don't make this about you, love. You're going on a world tour." He breathed out, his voice filled with disbelief.

"Oh, now you don't wanna talk about you, huh?" She teased him. Trev let out a dry chuckle before bringing the girl close to his chest. The two were currently laying in Trevor's bed in hid new house. The boy finally decided he didn't need a roommate, meaning the two could now have alone time whenever they wanted. Well, Trevor likes to put it that way, but they both know it's because none of his teammate wanted to live with him anymore.

"This wouldn't be happening without you, T." She whispered against his chest, making the boy tense up slightly.

"In a bad way, or in a good way?"

"Good way. If I had never met you, I wouldn't have released my first album, and my career probably wouldn't be where it is right now. You're the best thing that's ever been mine." She whispered.

"You did not just quote Taylor Swift-"

"I did!" The girl giggled. Her boyfriend rolled his eyes before lifting her head and pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "Say it back."

"You are the most wonderful and amazing thing that's ever been mine, sweetheart." The Ducks player mumbled before pressing a hard kiss to his girlfriend's lips. The singer couldn't help but smile at his words.

This was the happiest she had been in a long time, and nothing was going to ruin it.

"Are you excited to see our babies?" Harry asked, a giddy feeling in my stomach.

"Look how big my tummy is" I grinned, pushing my shirt up to rest under my boobs, shifting a little. "I thought I was quite big for the first trimester"

"You're housing our beautiful babies in that perfect round tummy"

"I can't wait to feel them kick or move" I sighed, Harry's hand resting towards the lower side of my stomach.

"You say that now, just wait till they're kicking your bladder babe" He teased, leaning down to peck my lips.

With the absurdly cold gel on my stomach, Harry and I focused back on the black and white static screen, our male tech flipping the switch to hear their heartbeats.

"Here is baby A's heartbeat............................. baby B's........................... and baby C's"

Harry and I coo'd over them each when a familiar look appeared on the tech's face.

"Baby A" he hummed, flicking to the next one "Baby B" to the next, "Baby C" and... the next? "Mothers?" his tone was wavered. "Baby A... Baby B... Baby C.." he did it again before excusing himself from the room to grab the doctor and now I was royally freaking out.

One of the on call doctors came in, Harry's hand squeezing mine as tears threatened to fall, the screen turned away from us.

Was something wrong?

With quiet hums and the click of a mouse, the screen was turned back to us, the ultrasound technician standing to the side; "Alright, everything is looking good" She eased, my tightened chest slowly letting air back in. A grin started to appear on the doctors face, Harry's fingers intertwining with my own, his rings rubbing against the insides of my fingers. "Here is beautiful baby one's heartbeat" She smiled, showing the little flutter before showing us the baby. "Here is baby two" she repeated, "baby three" her smile got bigger as she flipped to the next screen, "And baby four"

Excuse me?

Harry's hand stilled in mine as my lips parted, my throat clearing as my head shook, "What?"

"Here is baby one-" she started to repeat, my head continuing to shake.

"No, no, I heard you.. four? Four?!" I begin to panic again, this time Harry not attempting to stop me as he leaned back in the chair.

"Yes, four" She confirmed, my shocked gaze staring at the new babies placenta sack, the tiny fetus shocking me to my core.

"How? It was.. it was three, last time! How is there four? Just four?" I rushed, moving to lean up on my elbows to view the screen better.

"Just four"

"You sure?" I snapped, the doctor nodding.

"How? How is there four?!"

"Mrs. Styles, sometimes with so many multiples, it's hard to see them all. They get overshadowed, or hidden-"

"There's just four, right?" I asked again, the doctor nodding. "How are you sure? We thought there was just three last time!"

"Like I said, sometimes-"

"No, I heard you! I'm just... four?! There's four?"

"Yes, you're having quadruplets"

"Oh my god" I exhaled, my body falling back as my eyes closed.

How in the hell am I supposed to carry FOUR babies?! F O U R ?!

"Your due date will be moved closer-"

"Oh my god! My due date!" I gasped, turning to look at Harry whom seemed to be caught in a state of disbelief as his body went catatonic.

"You'll be induced, pardon-" her throat cleared, "scheduled for a cesarean surgical procedure around 30 weeks"

My eyes widened.

"30 weeks?! THAT'S 10 WEEKS EARLY!" I yelled, Harry seeming to be snapped out of whatever state he was caught in, "They'll be too small!" I worried, the doctor moving to step closer to me, reaching for my hand only for my instinctive reaction being to yank it away. "I can't have four babies at 30 weeks! They'll be too small! They're.. they're supposed to be inside of me till 40 weeks!"

"With twins we try to induce you around 35 weeks. With more, we move it up, so triplets like you know would've been 33 weeks, and quads, 30" She explained, my racing heartrate causing my breathing to become a pant.

Frantically looking over at Harry who was staring at the ultrasound screen with a bewildered look on his face, I looked back over at the ultrasound technician, then the doctor, "I can't carry four babies" I stated, the doctors face becoming unreadable.

"You can. You're healthy enough-"

"No. You don't understand. I can't carry four babies"

"Why do you believe you cannot?" She asked, the room starting to move and blur as my waterline was ready to overflow.

"I.. I knew the risk... the risk of carrying.. carrying.. one baby!" I whimpered, "And then and then I was told.. told.. told I had three! Three babies! When I wasn't even supposed to have one!" I cried, "And now.. now... now I have four! Four babies inside of me?! Do I look.. look like someone who can carry FOUR babies?!" I shrieked, rubbing at my eyes so I could see clearly.

"Mrs. Styles, if we, medical professionals, didn't think you could safely carry multiples, we'd be having a different discussion" She tried to explain, the faint sound of one of my babies heartbeats ringing in my ears.

"Y/N? What are you saying?" Harry asked softly, finally zoning back into the conversation. "You can't have an abortion- they already have heartbeats" He said softly, the nerves he was feeling made his voice wavier slightly.

"I don't want an abortion" I cried, "I just... I can't carry four babies!"

The room was quiet other than my whimpers and whines; the faint sound of the heartbeat and Harry's chair scooting back against the linoleum floor.

He grabbed my hand, carefully moving me to sit upright before pulling me into his chest, "Harry, the gel" I worried, Harry ignoring me as my front pressed against one of his shirts.

"Inhale" he breathed in, "Exhale" he breathed out, having me copy him before he crouched in front of me, his hands resting on top of my thighs, eye level with my - bigger than normal for first trimester - belly. "There are four beautiful, loved, and wanted babies in here. I know you're scared, Y'N. I'm scared shitless too, but we can do this. We'll work with the doctors, make sure everything goes smoothly, and if it doesn't, they have everything they need to do their best job at helping us. We can't play god, Y/N. We can't change the world, or alter fate... but you found out at 23 years old that you'd have a hard time conceiving and I know how hard that was to find out, and live with. To get in a relationship where both of us wanted kids, to get married, and not follow through with that next step broke your heart, baby. It broke you into pieces. Your darkest days- You're getting what you wanted, babe. You have four beautiful babies right here" his hands moved to cradle the sides of my stomach, "Quadruple the amount you were told you'd have, and if you couldn't do it, if it wasn't meant to be, then we would've been looking at different painted colors, baby. We're lucky enough to be okay. To know we can support them, to know we have the means, the house, the yard, the family... we can do this. You are single handily carrying our family, and I know how terrifying that is" I wiped at my tears, Harry moving to stand on his feet, bringing me back into his chest, "But you're not alone. You've never been alone, Y/N." He kissed my lips, moving to cradle my face in his hands, "One step at a time, baby, remember?"

He wiped my tears as I nodded, leaning my head on his chest, "One step at a time" I repeated, my chin resting against his chest as I looked up at him, "I can't believe we have four babies...."

I heard a chuckle in front of me, reminding me that we weren't alone.

I pushed away from Harry, embarrassingly wiping at my face, apologizing to the professionals in front of me.

I could feel the heat radiating off of my cheeks when I was asked to lay back again as more gel got applied and moved around with the wand.

She mouthed something to Harry, to which he nodded at, before telling me, "I just want to check each one a little closer, get some photos and then we'll talk about our next steps, okay?" She asked calmly and I nodded.

I left the office hand in hand with Harry; Harry holding even more medical paraphernalia as I held onto the ultra sound photos and my bag.

"I knew IVF was known for being one of the main causes of multiples but... I never expected it to go this far. I mean, I guess we're lucky it stopped at four, right?" I joked, Harry opening the passenger side door for me, letting me hop in before closing it, muttering "Hopefully" and entering the car himself.

A loud, irritated groan left your figure as you fought with nothing in particular. That was a lie. You fought with yourself right now.

The t shirt clung to your figure because of the cold sweat you woke up in and your hair was an absolute mess. The spot next to you on the bed was empty, you knew that your most loved one was probably on a stream.

Scrambling from the bed you passed the long mirror on the bedroom wall; another irritated huff left you. That feeling of being trapped in the wrong body snaked up your leg and pierced you right in your heart. Maybe a cup of hot tea or coffee will cheer you up.

You passed the office, hearing a loud groan from withing, followed by your boyfriend’s voice, explaining how unfair it was for him to get shot ten seconds after joining the game.

The water boiler hummed loudly as you sat on the barstool by the kitchen island, slumped over like a sad little bag of potatoes. You also felt like one. Yet another groan erupted from the office, making you think of something. Quickly fetching your phone from the pockets of your shorts, you opened Whatsapp and sent Lando a quick text. It was almost comical how you could hear him talk to his audience about you.

“My lovely boyfriend just asked if I wanted some tea!”, he giggled like a giddy child. Brits and their tea. He sent you a text back, telling you he’ll be in the kitchen in a few minutes, he just wanted to wrap the stream up.

Then his eyes landed on a username consisting of various numbers and letters. ‘Ew bro, you still dating that f@g? Thought u moved on lolz’ The blood in his veins froze and he felt the anger boiling in the pit of his stomach. Another one popped up, this time from a different viewer. ‘OMG WAIT is it that Tr@nny he once showed lmao, Lan you can do better smh’ And with that a stream of vile words erupted as the strangers on the other side of the screen began vomiting senseless hate. ‘No fucking way. I bet y’all a million bucks that I’d be a less embarrassing wag lol’

What he had missed in this mess of hate comments was that ‘y/n.02’ had joined the stream and saw the hateful words through teary eyes. You clutched your phone with a desperate grip as you sobbed.

“Y’all need to fucking grow up and accept it. I love my boyfriend.” was all he said before swiftly clicking ‘end stream’ and rushing out of the office. He found you with glistening tears streaming down your face and a red, sniffling nose. Immediately, Lando threw his arms around you, pulling you up from the barstool and into a tight hug. “Don’t listen to them darling”, his voice was sweet and almost as quiet as the breath you let out after that. His T shirt was soaked with your tears, but he couldn’t care less. “I love you so fucking much. And nothing can change that. You’re the best damn thing that happened to me.”, his big, gentle hands rubbed your back and traced patterns over your t shirt.

Lando pulled away and looked you intently in the eyes. He closed the distance between you two and embraced you in a sweet, loving kiss.

“Let’s drink some tea baby.”, Brits and their fucking tea.

We love first year Rook with first year Idia so much, Anon, you have no idea! And Rook/Idia in general, this is one of the things that I really want to draw properly at least once. For now we only have sketches…

But to answer your question! I like to think that Rook was very intrigued by Idia right away; of course Idia isn’t a beastman, but he is not only super bright and shiny-looking (unusual! Interesting!), but also is a very rare pokemon to see. It’s very easy to picture Rook getting excited and charmed by him, maybe he even had a period of a little obsession~ But of course none of this is in any way returned by Idia; to him being suddenly surrounded by so many loud and annoying people his age is already stressful enough, but Rook is somehow worse than all of them combined. He hates everyone from Savanaclaw, but they’re usually just rude jerks, but Rook? If only he was a rude jerk…

This is such a good question, Anon. It’s honestly still kind of easy to imagine him doing that. He punishes himself constantly, and while I don’t think this is necessarily about control, this absolutely could be about wanting to make himself feel even worse or to distract himself from the other kind of deep pain he’s feeling. Since we’re talking about a character here, as an artist I can also add that seeing him this way could be aesthetically pleasing, there are some very good artworks with this theme.

That being said, we usually tend to think that Idia wouldn’t do that. I agree that Idia being phobic of pain sounds very like him, but also? He is very detached from the physical side of things in general, I think. He would rather torment himself mentally.

Another reason for Idia and selfharm not really working in our heads is that I don’t think Ortho would let him. He is very sensitive to changes in his health condition after all.
